The Latina Project
The Latina Project’s mission is to chronicle and collect stories, experiences and perspectives on the different Latinas living in America.
In our first installment, "The Miami Monologues," various Latina archetypes that decorate the South Florida landscape come to life in this one-woman, multi-media show.
Abel Cornejo (Director) and Talia Mole Monson (performer) generated material for the script by utilizing technology: email surveys, blog and website. Additionally real sound elements from Miami were incorporated into the performance.
A fascinating and alluring investigation of these precious gems, so captivating and socially unique to the Latina culture.
